Talk to the Cuccoo Lady for the bottle. The cuccos, if I remember correctly
are located thusly:
One at the entrance to the Village - Simple to get, grab it and then
chuck it in the pen
One in front of the House of Skulltula - You will need another cucco for
this one, you will have to get up on the platform where the half-built
building is and use the cucco to float across, chuck the one you used down
onto the ground below you, and grab the other and chuck it in the pen
One at the back of the potion shop - Again, you will need another cucco
to get this, walk up in from of the windmill, and keep walking straight, keeping
to the right-hand side, once you near the end of the platform, cut across
to the left and jump off, getting as near to the fence as you can before you actually
leap off. If you've done it right, you should end up on the next platform, which is
behind the potion shop. Chuck the cucco you used back the way you came from, get down and
grab the cucco down there as well and do the same thing with that one,
just get them both out of the enclosed area. Climb the ladder and you will find ...
One behind the windmill - Just grab it now, and jump straight off and float toward
the pen, just makes the walk a little less, now go back and grab the other two
One up near the graveyard kid's house - up near the entrance to Death Mountain Tral, at the
north end of the village
One in a box near the bottom of the stairs straight ahead
of you after entering the village - Self explanatory? Just do a roll-attack
at the box and it will smash to smitherines.
Can't remember where the last one is, but it should be fairly obvious
After all that, go back to the cucco-lady and she will give you a
bottle. Then, go to the graveyard (bottom right) for the Sun's Song. Now, the way to get the Sun's
Song is to go to the back of the graveyard and play Zelda's Lullaby. The
game's best Young Link cut scene occurs, and you've got a hole. Drop down.
Take out all 5 Keese in this room, and the door will unlock itself. Go
through the door and make a mad dash straight through this room. Run through
the green muck, because it hurts less than if you go near a ReDead, trust me.
After this, you'll see the wall. You learn the Sun's Song from it. Go back to
the ReDead's and play the Sun's Song to freeze them. Then leave. To get the
Hylian Shield here for free, pull on the grave with flowers in the first row,
and open the chest below. This is a good find, but don't
equip it yet. It was made for Adult Link, really. The entrance to Death
Mountain is at the top, but a guard blocks your way. Just show him Zelda's
Letter, which reads (god this is lame):
This is (your name), he is under my orders to save Hyrule.
Well, that was dumb, and the guard has his appropriate laugh. He also wants a
Mask from the Happy Mask Shop, which is now accessible in Hyrule Market. Go
through the now opened gate.
