MONSTERS WITH A PAST

Long-time videogame fans will remember the original Legend of Zelda released in September of 1987 on the 8-bit NES. I still remember the TV commercial (Octoroks, Peahats, Tektites,LEEVERS!!!!!) Well, a lot of the monsters you'll see in this version originally appeared in the old game as 2-D sprites. Among them are Octoroks, Peahats, Tektites, Leevers, Stalfos, Like-Likes, Armos', Keese, .... Why didn't they bring back Pol's Voice????

I hope this guide helps, since I had to do a lot of back-tracking to long forgotten levels now that I finally finished the game the day before.

2)LEGEND

Where - where you'll see them
Attacks- what actual offensive/defensive attacks they will use
Hits - number of blows needed to defeat
If no weapon is specified, number is for Kokiri Sword (Light Age)
or Master Sword (Dark Age)
Notes - stuff you should know

Light Age refers to young link, Dark to older link. If you want to discover all of the little secrets that make this game great, get used to changing between the two.
